View the “Top of information store” in Outlook 2007

I accidentally imported a few messages into the root of my Outlook message tree and I wanted to move the messages to the correct directory.

Here is how you can view the “Top of information store” folder:

  1. Right click on the  Mailbox listed first under All Mail Items (in the left hand column)
  2. Choose the properties option at the bottom of the menu
  3. On the Home Page tab remove the Tick next to “Show home page by default for this folder”
  4. Click “OK”
  5. You can now view the messages stored under your Mailbox root

To get your Today screen back just Tick the “Show home page by default for this folder” box again.
